SAT SUMMER INTENSIVE

In preparation for the August 24 Official SAT Exam, Scintilla offers a comprehensive, one-week crash course. These full-day classes are held in a cozy setting and are capped at 12 students.

BOOKS

The following books will be provided for you. We will use these, in addition to the Scintilla Reading Method (course packet provided) and supplemental Scintilla materials, to structure our course. We have chosen the following books in particular because we believe they are - BY FAR - the most astute, test-like, and intelligent SAT books on the market:

Reading: SAT Passage Types (Scintilla Method)

Writing: Subject-Verb Agreement, Sentences/Fragments, Punctuation

4-5pm: Test #4 Review

Tuesday, August 20:

9:30am-12:30pm: College Board Test #5

Math: Heart of Algebra II

Reading: Identifying Wrong Answer Choice Types

Writing: Pronoun-Antecedent Agreement, Sentence/Paragraph Placement, Revising Sentences

4-5pm: Test #5 Review

Wednesday, August 21:

9:30am-12:30pm: College Board Test #6

Math: Passport to Advanced Math

Reading: Attacking Evidence-Based Questions

Writing: Modifying Phrases, Dangling Modifiers, Transitions, Parallelism

PRICE

$1500 (5-day course). If you are interested in a prorated cost (that is, if you do not plan to attend all 5 sessions), please contact us and we will do our best to adjust the price accordingly, as space permits. If you are interested in 3 days or fewer, we may place you on a waiting list until the enrollment cap is reached so that we can best accommodate all students who hope to take the course.

CANCELLATION POLICY AND REFUNDS

We will provide a full refund if you contact us with your request BY E-MAIL ONLY (sakina.scintillatutors@gmail.com) within 24 hours of your purchase. If you have paid in full and decide not to take the SAT Intensive Course for any reason, you can apply the $1500 as a credit towards any of our other services (Full online SAT Course, Admissions Essay Edits, etc). If you submit a cancellation request by email before August 1, we can provide a refund of HALF of your payment ($750).
